Delivery Times & Production

Since everything is custom-made by me, production begins after your order is confirmed. Here’s what to expect:

Custom Portraits

• Standard: 10–15 business days (to Pick-up Point)
• Express: 4–6 business days

EU, USA, Norway, Switzerland
• Express: 10–15 business days

Rest of World
• Standard: 10–15 business days (delivery method depends on region)

You can choose priority production and express shipping for portraits at checkout. This isn’t available for other items.

Note: Portraits are produced and shipped from Sweden. Other products are produced closer to your location, when possible. Items may arrive in separate shipments.

Other Products (Sweaters, Phone Cases, Mugs, etc.)

These are produced on demand by my trusted partners. Estimated delivery times:

Knitted Sweater: 2–4 weeks (Produced and shipped from China)
Phone Cases & Accessories: ~2 weeks (depending on location)

Each product page shows estimated delivery times.

During the Chinese New Year period (typically late January–February), our production partner for knits may experience a short shutdown, which can lead to extended delivery times. We appreciate your patience during this time.

Customs & Import Fees

I want every My Equi Art customer — no matter where you are in the world — to feel confident when ordering from me.
That’s why I do my best to make the customs and import process as clear and simple as possible.

🇺🇸 For my customers in the United States:
I currently ship all U.S. orders Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), which means I cover any customs duties and import fees related to your order.
You won’t receive any surprise charges upon delivery — I handle all import declarations and costs on your behalf.

Please note that the previous de minimis threshold (which allowed shipments under $800 USD to enter duty-free) was officially removed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection in August 2025.
As a result, all international shipments to the U.S. may now be subject to customs processing and import duties, regardless of value.

To make things easier and worry-free for my customers, I’ve chosen to cover these potential costs myself for the time being.
I’ll continue to monitor U.S. import regulations closely and update this policy as needed if any future changes affect how fees are handled.

🇪🇺 For my customers in the EU

Most orders are produced and shipped within the EU and will arrive without any additional customs or import charges.

However, some products may be produced and shipped from one of my international production partners outside the EU, for example in the United States or China. In these cases, your order may be subject to local customs duties, import VAT or handling fees upon arrival.

Any such charges are determined by your local customs authorities and/or carrier and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Please note that the shipping origin may vary depending on the product, availability and delivery destination.

🌍 For my customers in Norway, Australia, and other countries:
Customs duties, import taxes or handling fees may apply depending on where your order is produced and shipped from, as well as your local regulations. These charges are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated at checkout.

I review and update this policy regularly to ensure transparency and to make sure you always know exactly what to expect when ordering from My Equi Art.
