Welcome to My Equi Art!
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of myequiart.com (the “Site”) and your access to the custom products and services provided by My Equi Art / Ameros AB ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About My Equi Art

My Equi Art offers custom-made art and products featuring your horse. Each piece is hand-designed by artist and founder Amalia Thoors, using photos submitted by you.

All artworks are produced on-demand and are personalized to your order.

2. Eligibility

To place an order or use our services, you must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian permission.

3. Products and Orders

All products are made to order and personalized based on the photos and information you provide. Please ensure submitted materials are clear and accurate.
Because of the artistic interpretation, small variations may occur between the artwork and the original reference images.

We reserve the right to decline or request new material if your submitted images do not meet our quality or style requirements.

4. Pricing & Payments

Prices are shown in your local currency or EUR and include VAT where applicable.
We accept secure payments via major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other options provided by Shopify.

Shipping costs (if applicable) are calculated at checkout.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide. Delivery times vary by product and destination. Custom portraits typically ship within 2–3 weeks; other items like sweaters may take longer.

Please note that we are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs clearance, or force majeure.

You are responsible for any applicable customs duties or import taxes.

6. Returns & Refunds

As each product is custom-made, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds unless an item arrives damaged or incorrect.

If there is a problem with your order, contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@myequiart.com, including photos and your order number.

Gift cards are non-refundable.

7. Copyright & Ownership

All artworks, portraits, and designs created by My Equi Art remain the intellectual property of Amalia Thoors / Ameros AB, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

When you purchase a product, you receive a personal-use license only. You may display, gift, or print the artwork for personal enjoyment, but you may not reproduce, resell, modify, or use it commercially without prior written consent.

If you wish to purchase exclusive or commercial rights, please email hello@myequiart.com for licensing terms.

8. Marketing Use

By submitting your horse’s photo(s) and placing an order, you grant My Equi Art the right to use the final artwork or product preview in promotional material—including but not limited to our website, social media, email, and ads.

If you prefer that your portrait is not used for marketing purposes, simply let us know in writing at the time of your order.

9. Privacy

We are committed to protecting your data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how your information is collected and used.

10. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for unlawful purposes
  • Impersonate another person or provide false information
  • Submit offensive, infringing, or unauthorized content
  • Interfere with the Site’s functionality or security

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of our Site or products.
We make no guarantees regarding color accuracy on screen vs print, or delivery dates affected by third parties.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be handled under Swedish jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted here with the revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
